Accessible Hospitality
Hospitality and accessibility have always gone together in Bibione. Even on the beach!
The large sandy shoreline hosts accessible bathing establishments along the entire coastline.
Bibione Spiaggia adheres to the Destination4All project created for the Bibione Live Consortium by Village for all V4A.
Services
These are the services we have created to best meet the accessibility needs of our guests:
– Ramps and slides to allow access to the establishments and to reach the various areas;
– Internal connecting paths between the various areas made of wood and extending for about 18 km;
– Telephone reservation service – by calling +39 0431 439671 – of the beach place bordering the main walkway, to which an additional walkway is added to facilitate movement;
– Availability of beach umbrellas equipped with flooring for wheelchairs, walkers and strollers. Some of these beach places have a permanent pitch and are located in the UN POSTO AL SOLE, LEONE, SCORPIO, GEMELLI, PESCI and BILANCIA areas; on the other beach umbrellas, the pitch is set up on the spot upon request;
– Upon request and available at all establishments, sunbeds higher than the standard (height 47 cm);
– Beach wheelchairs to allow you to enter the water (Job and Sand & Sea models with front wheel), available free of charge at all ticket offices;
– Play areas with inclusive and certified games (in via Regolo and at Bibione Thermae);
– Toilets equipped for people with disabilities, with audible/visual alarm and handles;
– 7 retractable walkways to reach the shoreline, located in the following areas: Faro, Spiaggia di Pluto, between CORSO DEL SOLE D and CORSO DEL SOLE E, between ACQUARIO F and SAGITTARIO C, between TERME 3C and TERME 2E, between POSTO AL SOLE E and POSTO AL SOLE F, between ADRIATICO F and ADRIATICO G;
– Changing rooms dedicated to disabled people and equipped with a bench and three coat hangers at different heights;
– Extensive first aid system (6 wards) with equipment that guarantees timely intervention in case of difficulty and defibrillation unit with first aid workers for immediate assistance.
– Accessible pedal boat, equipped with a hand pedaler. The new boat maintains the two traditional stations, one of which is equipped with a special pedaler that allows movement to be generated through the use of the arms.
